*Can roll in coconut or sprinkles for extra flair because why not? You’re beautiful and your healthy treats should be too!
Mix dry ingredients together and then add honey and melted chocolate together. Scoop out and form into balls. Place in glass container and place in refrigerator for a mid-afternoon snack. Store up to 7 days to guarantee ultimate freshness.
These blew me out of the water! I’m just going to throw that out there before I begin sharing today’s fabulously delicious treat! My sweet tooth is big, but these found a way into my heart and satisfied my urge!
• 1 cup almonds ground up
• 1 cup pecans ground up
• 1/4 cup honey
• 2 tbsp coconut oil
• 2 tbsp yogurt
• Choice of fruit – Raspberries was our dessert choice.
Place bottom, middle and top layer in cupcake pan and put in freezer until frozen. Almond pecan yogurt cups will pop out. Keep in freezer to ensure melting of the fruit and yogurt does not take place. Take out of freezer to lightly thaw 10 minutes before you need a tasty treat!
•1 3/4 cups almond flour or oat flour •1/4 tsp baking soda •1/4 tsp nutmeg •1 tsp cinnamon •1 tsp vanilla •1 tsp pure maple syrup or fresh honey •1 1/2 cup bananas (I like to blend until smooth in Magic Bullet) •1 scoop of protein powder if you wish
To make these banana bite cookies look like delicate flowers, I used a cupcake decorating tool to place the batter carefully on the tray. You are amazing and your food should look and taste that way too! 💖
Place in oven at 350° for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and enjoy after a few minutes of cooling.
I will have 2-3 for a midday snack or with a bowl of fresh fruit at breakfast, because there isn’t anything sweeter than taking care of yourself. Store up to 7 days to guarantee ultimate freshness.
I am always looking to satisfy my palate with healthier and few ingredients. This recipe calls for 6 or 7 ingredients (with protein), which are already in their purest form. Set aside some time to make these guilt free, healthy goodies enjoy for one of your daily snacks. I usually cut a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch square and have for a snack between breakfast and lunch or whenever I am having a moment of weakness for sweets.

Are you here for a good time or to live for a long time? Why can’t it be both?
For years I struggled with gut health. Not anymore! It is under control because of what I am consuming day in and day out. The food you put into your body can either hinder your goals or help you achieve them.
I’m Heather and by day, I’m a Teacher of the Deaf. At the end of the school day, I aim to not only cover content, but help prepare my students to be successful in whichever path they choose in life. My husband, Jared and I also carry out group fitness classes to community members. These classes support client goals that are created whether they are looking to lose weight, get stronger, work towards achieving optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social health, or carve out time each day in order to stay sane. On top of that, my passion has become creating healthy treats made up of whole foods.
