I am always looking to satisfy my palate with healthier and few ingredients. This recipe calls for 6 or 7 ingredients (with protein), which are already in their purest form. Set aside some time to make these guilt free, healthy goodies enjoy for one of your daily snacks. I usually cut a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch square and have for a snack between breakfast and lunch or whenever I am having a moment of weakness for sweets.
Peanut Butter Base •
- 1 cup ground oats
- 1 cup homemade peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey (I buy mine from a beekeeper at our local farmer’s market)
- 1 scoop of and protein powder if you wish
Cacao Top •
- 1 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
Sprinkle with a few sprinkles to make it more of a party! Put in the refrigerator for a few hours and enjoy.
